How PlayOffers Keeps Every Offer Up to Date
An offer page is only useful if the terms are right. Here is exactly how we keep the offers on PlayOffers up to date, including the parts that are automated and the parts a person checks.
Where our offer details come from
Every offer on PlayOffers comes from the brand's own promotions and terms pages, not from press releases or other comparison sites. We feature a small number of brands, SaviBet, LuckCity, BetBlink, BetFusion and PlayWins, and we check each one's promotions every six hours.
Our software reads the terms and pulls out the details: the headline offer, minimum deposit, wagering, expiry, eligible games and so on. We don't rely on that step alone. Further checks compare every number with the brand's own wording, confirm that wagering is no more than the 10x legal maximum, and confirm that the offer covers a single product, as the new UK bonus rules require.
How changes are spotted and reviewed
Each time we check, we compare the latest terms with the version on our site. If nothing material has changed, the offer stays as it is.
If something has changed, such as the bonus amount, the wagering, the minimum deposit or the expiry, the change doesn't go live automatically. A person compares the old and new versions side by side against the brand's terms page, and approves the change only when it's correct.
What you see while a change is checked
While a change is waiting for review, we don't show the old terms, because they may no longer be right. Instead, the offer appears without its headline value, as a simple "See the current offer" card with a link to the brand's site.
It's a small inconvenience, but it means you're never shown a headline we can't stand behind.
How ended offers are removed
- Offers with an end date are removed automatically when that date passes.
- Offers that disappear from a brand's site switch to the same neutral card as soon as a check spots it, and are removed once a person confirms that the offer has ended.
How to report a mistake
We check carefully, but brands sometimes change terms between our checks. If you spot something that doesn't match the brand's own terms, please tell us through our contact page. We'll check it against the source and correct it if needed.
Offer terms are always set by the operator, and the operator's own terms apply when you sign up. The brands we feature pay us a commission, which is explained in our advertiser disclosure. You can read how we score brands in how we rate, and how we write and check our guides in our editorial policy. For every current offer in one place, see our promotions page.
