Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PlayOffers collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

PlayOffers.co.uk is owned and operated by DIRECTBE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09706823), whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide why and how it is used. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@playoffers.co.uk, or by post at the address above.

The data we collect

When you contact us. Your name, email address and message, so that we can reply. If you send a data request, the details you give us so that we can handle it.

When you click a link to an operator. We record a pseudonymous click reference, the page and position of the link, the time, your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), the operator's website, and, if you arrived from an advert, the advertising click identifiers and campaign tags in the address (such as gclid or utm_campaign). We also store a scrambled version of your IP address that changes every day and cannot be turned back into your address; we use it to spot automated and fraudulent clicks. The operator receives the click reference (and the advertising identifiers, if any) so that its affiliate system can tell that you came from us. We never share your name or email address with operators.

Sign-ups reported by operators. If you open an account or make a first deposit with an operator after following one of our links, the operator or its affiliate programme may tell us, using our click reference and sometimes the commission we have earned. These reports don't include your name or contact details. We use them to check what we are paid and, only if you agreed to advertising measurement, to tell Google Ads that an advert led to a sign-up (an "offline conversion"), using the advertising click identifier from your visit.

Analytics and advertising measurement (with your consent). If you agree, Google Analytics measures how pages are used and Google Ads measures which adverts lead to visits and sign-ups. Before you choose, and if you decline, Google receives only limited, cookieless signals that don't identify you (Google Consent Mode). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising measurement unless you switch it on yourself. Our cookie policy lists every cookie we use.

Server logs. Our web server keeps standard logs (including IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. PlayOffers is for adults only. If you think someone under 18 has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

We don't ask for special category data, such as information about your health, and we don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Why we use your data

  • To reply to messages and handle requests (our legitimate interest in running the site, or our legal obligation for data requests).
  • To count clicks, prevent fraud and check what operators pay us, including the sign-up reports described above (our legitimate interest in running and funding the site).
  • To measure and improve the site and our adverts, including reporting sign-ups to Google Ads (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To keep the site secure (our legitimate interest).

Who we share data with

  • Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Google, for analytics and advertising measurement, only if you consent.
  • Operators, who receive only the pseudonymous click information described above.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, courts or the police, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
  • A buyer of our business, if it is sold, who would have to use your data in line with this policy.

We never sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (such as the UK-US "data bridge" for certified companies) or by the Information Commissioner's international data transfer agreement or addendum.

How we protect your data

The whole site uses HTTPS. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it and protected by two-factor authentication. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes and API credentials are encrypted, and we keep data only as long as we need it. For example, click records hold a scrambled IP address rather than the address itself. If a security incident affects your data, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Messages and data requests: up to 24 months after we close them, then deleted. Spam is deleted after 30 days.
  • Individual click records and sign-up reports: 13 months, after which only totals are kept.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • Cookies: see the cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to cookies at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Use our data request form or email privacy@playoffers.co.uk. We reply within one month, and there is normally no charge.

If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if the way we use data changes. The date at the bottom shows when it was last updated.
