The 4 by 4 card
An 80-ball card is a 4 by 4 grid with 16 numbers. Each column holds numbers from its own range, and the columns are often shown in different colours to make them easy to tell apart:

Patterns that win
80-ball games are played for patterns, a little like 75-ball bingo but on a smaller card. Common prizes include:
- One line: a complete row, column or diagonal, depending on the room.
- Four corners: the four corner squares of the card.
- Full house: all 16 numbers.

Why 80-ball games are quick
